Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Welcome to my blog! It’s Friday — yay!! So, I’ve got a quick and easy no layer card and a second version that’s been stepped up a bit. Let’s take a look at the Young at Heart card two ways.

Young at Heart Card Two Ways

Simple Stamping Card

For this simple stamping card,

you’ll start with one of the Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes.

They’re perfect for a no layer card.

After you stamp the ladies from Young at Heart in Staz On,

color with pencils from the

Watercolor Pencils and Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2.

I used (starting on the left):

• Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green, Early Espresso
• Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight
• Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Basic Gray

Then, you’re done in about 5 minutes!

Quick, relaxing and easy.

Young at Heart Card Two Ways

Stepped Up Card

To make this card,

you’ll need about 30 minutes.

Start with a Thick Whisper White base.

Then, move on to the focal image.

Stamp in Memento and color with Stampin’ Blends.

Use the Softened Blends Technique for cheeks and grounding shadow.

Add a layer of Coastal Cabana embossed with the Corrugated 3D Folder.

Over it add a layer of Whisper White die cut with the Stitched Lace die.

Wrap and tie it with Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

Then accent with a Glitter Enamel Dot.
