I should be making treats but…as my daughter would say, “I’m not feeling it.” Besides, there’s still time. So, you get me instead and I’m going to share a look or two at the fancy fold we made in last night’s class.
I’ll tell you now, it was a hit. I just saw a gal from the class and she told me she was headed home to make more of them today. Yippee! I love when that happens. You know — Inspire, Create, Share
So window treatment? Well, we started with a window.
Using the Square framelits, we cut a window in the front of the Blackberry Bliss card base.
This way, the focal image can be seen both when the card is closed and when it is open.
The flower was stamped three times: in Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss.
Then, we cut the elements apart and pieced them back together. I’m really pleased with how the large blossom turned out.
And here’s a look at the card opened. We carried the large blossom on into the the inside of the card. To ink it separately, we used Blackberry Bliss and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write markers.
This card certainly has some cool moves. And Hey There Buds is at the top of my list to play with again soon.
Take a moment and sign up for my newsletter (in the side bar). Now, it’s time for me to make some treats.
