I spent yesterday looking at ways to update/change my blog. I haven’t settled on anything yet — still more research to do. I’d love your input. What would you like to see? What excites you? What would make coming here more useful? more interesting? Take a moment to leave me a comment and let me know what you want. After all, this blog is for you! And for you today, I have a Window Shopping clean and simple card.

window shopping clean and simple Card
The color combo challenge over at the Global Design Project
was just the thing to create with, on my rainy morning.
It is soo bright and cheery!!

I combined Window Shopping with GDP073
I was having so much fun with this clean and simple card that I couldn’t stop until
I had brought the envelope into the act as well.

The details
My Window Shopping card starts with a Daffodil Delight card base.
On the Whisper White layer, the background was created my inking up the small flower stamp in the set.
I found an oversight this morning!!
I do not own the 2016-2018 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers!
What to do?
I carefully used the corners of my Daffodil Delight and Emerald Envy ink pads to ink up the stamp.
Yeah, I know. I could have used the Daffodil Delight marker. But…
The sentiment was stamped in Emerald Envy.
Then, the center bit was stamped again in Watermelon Wonder.
Just a bit of trimming and then layer it over top with Dimensionals for a little pop.
The three Watermelon Wonder accent dots are 1/8″ punches of cardstock that have a bubble of
Fine Tip Glue added to the top.
I continued the fun on the inside.
After stamping a few of the Window Shopping flowers,
I used my Watermelon Wonder Stampin’ Write Marker to add a simple outline.
Bright, cheery, clean and simple!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Window Shopping card.
