Window Box Easter Basket

Hi! Welcome to my blog.  I’m feeling so accomplished today!  I’ve just finished a few big projects, the March Tutorial Bundle is live, and I’ve almost got the finishing touches on a fundraiser that I’ve put together for Sunday.  This all makes me happy, happy!!  I’m looking forward to the beginning of next month with today’s creation.  My Window Box Easter Basket is both cute and easy!  So take a look, leave me a comment to let me know what you think and go gather your supplies.

Window Box Easter Basket

 

 

I used the Window Box Framelits to cut the Sweet Sugarplum cardstock for my basket.

You’ll need 2 sides and 1 bottom/top.

 

 

Then, I used the Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder

to give detail to the sides of the basket.

Next, I added a Sweet Sugarplum cardstock handle.

To it, I added Sweet Sugarplum Striped Ribbon.

Then, I decorated the side!

 

 

First, I punched several sets of leaves from Pear Pizzazz.

I slightly crumpled some to give them more texture.

For the flowers, I used the Support Ribbon Framelits

and backed them with a 1″ Circle Punch of Whisper White.

To finish, I tied a Striped Grosgrain Ribbon bow and threaded in a loop of Silver Mini Sequin Trim.
