Demonstrator Support at Stampin’ Up! is awesome. You might know them as customer service. They are the only service department that I have ever called where they are ALWAYS pleasant and desiring to be of service. And we/I love them!
This week we’re trying to share a little love as it’s a busy one for them. The retiring product lists have come out, a few new products have rolled out and we of course have questions and orders that they will help with.
In honor of them, I thought I’d share one of the cards from this month’s Fast and Fab class. DS is both fast and fab.
Bermuda Bay Celebrations
For this card, we used a Whisper White cardstock base. Then, we pulled out the Bermuda Bay Celebrations Add On Kit. I’ve been loving this for card making. But, I may have to save some of it for scrapbooking. We cut loose several pieces of the stitched garland and arranged them with 1 3/8″ Circle punches of Silver Foil designer paper that is included in the kit. To this, we added 1/2″ Circle punches of Pool Party. The various size dots were arranged in groups and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. And one Pool Party dot in each grouping was adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional. After all of these were in place, we took the spritzer assembly out of the bottle and lightly struck it so that small droplets of ink scattered across the card. Coastal Cabana ink refill and alcohol had been mixed in the Stampin’ Spritzer. I almost forgot, the spritzer is included in the kit. Finally, we added two stripes of Retro Fresh washi tape. And we had a Fast and Fab card.
Now that you’ve seen my card, I’m sure that you’ll be interested in the next couple of bits of news. First, we are partnering with Becky Higgins of Project Life fame. An entire line of Project Life products has been specially designed to coordinate with the core Stampin’ Up! products. This line will be exclusive to Stampin’ Up! As a demonstrator, I get to pre order the preview products from this line now. You can too if you’d like to join my team/join the fun. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until May 1. Here’s a little peak at some of the new products.
The line will include: stamps, journaling card packs, framelits, divided scrapbooking pages and more.
I’ll be ordering mine this week to take advantage of the free shipping offer.
In other news, you can now purchase your My Paper Pumpkin as a subscription on any order type. Get it for yourself or give it as a gift. Here are the details.
As always, you can sign up for My Paper Pumpkin here. Or you can click the photo and be taken to my store where you can purchase a prepaid subscription for yourself, your mom, a new graduate, your grandkids, your homeschoolers. You get the idea. The kits are kind of perfect for almost anyone.
Thanks once again to Demonstrator Support and all they do.
