This was our one weekend “off” this month. No competitions or parades this weekend. So yesterday morning when I dropped my daughter for her ballet audition, I spent the time making the rounds at the farmers market and the natural foods store.
The Easton Farmers market though small is mighty. There are selections for breakfast – I had a freshly made crepe from Full of Crepe; plenty for lunch – I bought two lovely green olive rolls; and lots of lovely produce to take home for use during the week. It’s cauliflower soup for us tonight using the beautiful head of cauliflower I picked up.
Don’t those baked goods look yummy?
Ready for my creation?
I used Vintage Leaves and combined three challenges: PPA272, TGIFC25 and PP267.
This card starts with a Basic Black cardstock layer followed by a layer of Tip Top Taupe.
I decided to treat the Tip Top Taupe layer as if it were designer paper and created an all over pattern with Vintage Leaves. Leaves were the theme of PP267.
The overall layout is from PPA272
I decided to add a little accent to the smaller leaves by partially outlining them with a white gel pen. This simple accent plus the overall leaf design really pulls in the feel of the inspiration piece from TGIFC25.
The sentiment is two stamps from Endless Thanks. I can’t say often enough how much I like photopolymer stamps for the ease of use especially when creating a custom sentiment. As you can see, I accented the sentiment with three small Basic Pearls and a layer of the new Basic Black Glimmer Paper.

One word….and it is a powerful one – STUNNING! Way to ROCK the challenge
What a striking card! Love the DSP look of the leaves. And adding the white gel pen around the little leaves is genius. Thanks so much for including the PPA sketch challenge in your stamping fun this week.
Such an elegant card! I love the white outlined leaves.
So elegant, Sara! What a pretty fall card. Thanks for playing along at The Paper Players this week!
This is REALLY striking, Sara! I would not have thought to use neutrals like this, but it’s a great look! So happy you played with the Players this week! AND….I did not realize you lived close (relatively speaking) to me! At least we’re in the same state!
Beautiful and very classy card Sara! Thank you for playing with us at the PPA this week.
