Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  It has rained, rained ….and rained today.  But that’s ok!  It’s always sunny in my studio.  To share with you today, I used Varied Vases in Coastal Cabana.

I don’t know about you but, I love a stamp set that can be used simply.

It’s not that I don’t like more elaborate cards — I do!

But, it’s hard to beat a good clean and simple card.

And in this case, one stamp set, one ink pad and one pack of colored cardstock.

 

 

For the focal layer, I did a quick watercolor wash in Coastal Cabana

on a piece of Shimmery White.

After the panel dried, I stamped the vases, flowers, scallops and sentiment

in Coastal Cabana.

Then, I matted the Shimmery White layer onto Coastal Cabana

before adding it to a Thick Whisper White base.

 

Quick and easy!
