Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  And, I’m one happy mom!!  My daughter has been gone all summer and now I have her home for 5 days before it’s time to head back to school for the year.  So, we are spending all of that time together!  To welcome her back, I created a Tropical Chic Welcome Home banner.  Let’s take a look.
 

Tropical Chic Welcome Home

 

 

Knowing that she was arriving home in the middle of the night,

I put the banner on the front door.

That way, she would see it before heading to bed.

 

 

For my banner pieces, I used Whisper White cut to 3-3/4″ x 5″.

Then, I added a piece of Calypso Coral cut with one of the Beautiful Layers Thinlits.

Next, I stamped Tropical Chic leaves in Granny Apple Green and Call Me Clover.

And for the flowers, I used Calypso Coral.

To make mass producing the flowers and leaves easier, I die cut the pieces first then

used the Stamparatus for stamping.

Using Letters for You, I stamped my words in Call Me Clover.

Then, I cut them with the coordinating Large Letters Framelits.

After assembling each banner piece, I attached them to my door with a reusable adhesive putty.
