It is very warm here…in fact hot! And I don’t know about you but, that impacts my ability to think “Christmas”. But as crafters, we have to start early to make all of our handmade items. This month Stampin’ Up! is offering a sneak peek bundle — Carols of Christmas. It’s lovely, wonderful, versatile! But, it’s hot out. So I thought, “what about a tropical Carols of Christmas card?” Can you guess what I made?

This is the new Carols of Christmas stamp set.
What I like about it:
- Large sentiments – make card making simple
- Lots of smaller decorative elements means more versatility
- Coordinating dies to cut out most of the decorative elements.

I used a Tempting Turquoise cardstock base.
Then, I stamped pineapples from Pop of Paradise.
The pineapples were inked in Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay.

Next, I used the largest Stitched Shapes Framelits square to cut a piece of Whipser White.
Then I inked one of the lovely large sentiments from Carols of Christmas with Tempting Turquoise.
The sentiment just fits the square!
After adding it to the card with Dimensionals, I embellished with a piece of Basics Pack 2 Washi and sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment.
And, that’s my Tropical Carols of Christmas card.
