A couple of weeks ago, I made a trip to Carousel Lavender Farm with my friend Anne. We had a beautiful afternoon at the farm and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I took loads of pictures (for me) on my phone and couldn’t wait to get home and do something with them. It’s a lovely property and if you live within driving distance, make a day trip of it.
You must understand that I generally FAIL at any kind of memory keeping. I’m bad about taking pictures and worse about compiling them in any way. But, Project Life by Stampin’ Up! appeals to me greatly and I have tried to improve in this area. And, I have! It is sooo easy to put a page together.
This is a really down and dirty page. I love the pocket pages as I can put several pictures on/in one page and add journaling. For this page, the journaling, at least right now, is at a minimum. I may decide to come back and add more. But, I felt I needed to just get the page together. If I waited to do it “perfectly” it would probably never happen.
The journaling card is from This is the Life. It was the perfect green – Cucumber Crush – to go with the purples and greens in the photos.
Why am I sharing such a simple page? Because I feel sure there have to be others out there just like me who just need to do it – keep it simple so the memory keeping will happen.
Give it a try! Take five minutes (literally).
You can always come back and change things up later. But in the meantime, you’ve become the keeper of the memories.
