I pulled out The Open Sea today. I haven’t created with it in for e-v-e-r! It’s good to revisit what’s in your stash. Besides, I think it turned out to be perfect for the Try Stamping on Tuesday #209 sketch.
I usually struggle with creating a masculine card. This one came together effortlessly.
My color scheme is Night of Navy, Soft Suede and Gold.
After embossing the anchor image in gold, I cut it out.
Tip: I used the 1/16″ punch to remove most of the cardstock between the chain and the anchor. It left just a couple tiny pieces that were easy to snip off with my scissors. Then, I used the 1/8th punch to punch out the center of the loop at the top of the anchor.
Thanks for the fun sketch!

What a perfect take on our sketch from last week and a beautiful masculine card, Sara. We are so happy you joined the fun at Try Stampin’ On Tuesday!
I really enjoyed this sketch. This might have been the easiest masculine card I’ve ever made. Thanks!
