I love inking a new stamp set. And, I love sarcasm! A funny sentiment can make my day. When I saw Text Ya Later in the catalog, I knew I could have some fun using it. Today was the day for the Text Ya Later first inking. So many possibilities….which one to choose?

My humorous card begins with a Bermuda Bay card base.
Then I added some of the gorgeous Whole Lot of Lovely designer paper.
Next, I inked the screen image from Text Ya Later with Archival Basic Gray.
To add a little detail to the screen, I used an Aqua Painter and ink from my Bermuda Bay ink pad
to paint a couple of light scribbles down the screen.

The speech bubble outlines were inked in Memento Black
and then filled in with Bermuda Bay.
Text Ya Later contains speech bubble outlines in multiple sizes as well as stamps to fill them.
After stamping the sentiment, I moved on to the emojis.
I stamped them on Crushed Curry and punched them out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.
A strip of Basics Pack 3 washi and a Clear Faceted Gem complete the top of the screen.
And down in the lower right is a 1″ Bermuda Bay circle, a piece of Vellum cut with the Ticket Tear Border
and loops of Silver Metallic Thread.
