It’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow. Have you created your card or cards yet? If not, don’t panic. I have a quick and easy, Clean and Simple card for you. I used Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight but you could change the colors up if you desire.
Start with your Melon Mambo cardstock for your base. I’ve used the Hexagon Hive Thinlit to cut my Daffodil Delight layer. Next, I inked “Sweet” from Countless Sayings 2 with Melon Mambo and stamped on Whisper White. Using my paper snips, I trimmed around the word just to let the shape of the font dictate the shape of this layer. I used the Full Heart punch and punched a piece of the Melon Mambo paper from the Brights Designer Paper Series Paper Stack. The heart and sentiment were placed on Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then to finish, I added a Basic Rhinestone to the end of the swoosh from the “t” where it overhangs the heart.
Here’s a quick tip for you. When using this thinlit, place a piece of wax paper between the thinlit and the cardstock. After you’ve run it through the Big Shot, you may want to use your Paper Piercing tool to gently remove the die cut piece from the thinlit. Don’t remove the wax paper. It actually helps the die cut piece come out of the thinlit more easily.
Be sure to keep plenty of supplies on hand so that you’re ready for any card occasion.
