My day got away from me yesterday! I was working on a couple of new design teams and creating and packing. Before I knew it, it was time that I had to get on the road! So my creation had to wait a day. I’m visiting my mom for a couple of days (so limited wifi). Last night I enjoyed dinner with mom and my sisters family. Dinner could have been anything! For me, it’s all about being able to enjoy time with everybody. Lots of laughs with the girls!! And my daughter even FaceTimed (is that a verb?) in for a few minutes. So, I’m doing my usual Panerra morning and catching up and posting before Mom and I get going for the day.

Succulent Framelits for TGIF103 and a Sneak Peek
I used the Succulent Framelits and a few sneak peek goodies along with
The sketch called for a watercolor wash.
I chose a color scheme of Early Espresso, Island Indigo,
Old Olive and Sweet Sugarplum.
My base is Early Espresso followed by a narrow layer of
Island Indigo.
That bit of Island Indigo helps the focal layer to pop!
After adding my Island Indigo wash on a piece of Thick Whisper White,
I began layering.
I used a card from the upcoming Annual Catalog that has
an Old Olive background (144210 sneak peek).
Then, I added a strip of 3/8″ Mini Chevron Ribbon in Crushed Curry (144197 sneak peek).
Over that is a piece of Island Indigo stamped with an image from Colorful Seasons (143726 sneak peek)
that was inked in Island Indigo.
The Succulent Framelits were used to cut Sweet Sugarplum and Crushed Curry cardstock for
the focal flower.
Then it was time to embellish with Metallics Sequins
and Gold Metallic Thread.
I finished with splatters of Island Indigo ink that has been saturated with
Clear Wink of Stella.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Succulent Framelits card with a little sneak peek!
