This Sunday all of the participants in #stampingsunday will be using the August Paper Pumpkin Kit for their creations. This is great for two reasons: one, if you haven’t completed the kit, you’ll get even more ideas; and two, if you’re unfamiliar with these great kits you’ll get to see some of the expanded creating that can be done using the kit as a jumping off point. You can see the video of the August kit contents here.
I really like that when the kit contains printed cards, the entire card base front and back is printed. So typically, I cut them in half so that I can have more. I’m just a little greedy that way.
I started with a Melon Mambo cardstock base and used the dot stamp that came in the Paper Pumpkin kit. The dot was inked with Melon Mambo and stamped randomly across the cardstock.
Next, I cut down one of the striped cards in the kit and adhered it to the white, laser cut “smile” layer.
Then, I used some of the Melon Mambo and Mossy Meadow 3/4 inch punched circles in the kit to create a little design element in the upper left and lower right.
This entire layer was added to the Melon Mambo base using Stampin’ Dimensionals (also in the kit).
Thanks for stopping by. And if you haven’t already subscribed to Paper Pumpkin, check out the offer just below my signature.
