It’s #stampingsunday again. This week those participating will be using Happy Watercolor. You too can play along by creating something with Happy Watercolor and posting it to your social media. Just be sure to include #stampinsunday – I’d love to see it.
I surprised myself with my creation. It is a clean and simple (CAS) card. This is usually the hardest type of card for me to create so, I was amazed when it just “happened” seemingly by itself.
I stamped with Bermuda Bay on a piece from the Fresh Prints designer paper stack. I cut out both images using my Paper Snips. One image is reversed so that all you see is the overall shape and the designer print. For the second image, I separated the petals and gently shaped them to give a more 3D effect. Under the flower is a watercolor “splotch” image also from Happy Watercolor. It was inked in Baked Brown Sugar and stamped off before stamping the Whisper White card base. The bottom layer of the flower was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the top layer was added with a Stampin’ Dimensional. To complete the flower, I placed a Basic Pearl in the center. The composition was finished with two strips of Retro Fresh washi tape.
Thanks for stopping by for #stampingsunday. A new stamp or tool will be posted on Tuesday for next week’s #stampingsunday . Be sure to stop back and check so that you too can play along.
