Stamping Sunday Blog Hop – Tags and Trimmings
–
–
For my first project, I’ve made a card.
I used a Night of Navy cardstock base with a layer of Whisper White.
I brushed on a rough watercolor wash
and dropped in some splashes of Wink of Stella.
–
–
Then, I added a row of “berries” cut with Trim Your Stockings Thinlits.
Using Fine Tip Glue, I added a small dome to each berry to give it some sheen and dimension.
Next, I used a strip of Merry Music designer paper.
Then, I stamped and embossed the sentiment from Tags and Trimmings.
I added a Silver Foil bell with a Crinkled Seam Binding bow.
Then, I finished the card with a couple of holly leaves and a berry.

For my stocking, I cut Smoky Slate pieces with the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits.
Then, I cut a Gold Glimmer Paper snowflake.
Next, I stamped the tiny snowflakes from Tags and Trimmings and embossed in gold.
–
–
Tip: Before beginning to assemble the pieces, use your bone folder and slightly soften the
fibers of the stocking front and back pieces. This will help them curve into shape more easily.
To create the glittery seams on my stocking,
I traced the edges with Fine Tip Glue and sprinkled on the glitter.
To finish, I added domes of Fine Tip Glue to the sprigs and also sprinkled them with glitter to create glittery, golden berries.
