Hi! Welcome to my blog and the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. Be sure to welcome our guest hopper — Nature Gibner – as you make the rounds!! This week the challenge for the design team was to use Spooky Night or Painted Autumn designer paper but…the creations can’t be for Fall or Halloween. There are some great reverse sides on the paper that will take you through most of the year! Let’s take a look and see what the design team did with them.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Spooky Night and Painted Autumn
–
I was torn but ended up focusing on the Painted Autumn designer paper.
For my first creation, I made a card.
–
–
The card starts with a Calypso Coral base.
Then, I added a narrow layer of Peekaboo Peach under the Very Vanilla layer.
I inked up images from Remarkable You.
For the layering of the images, I cut a mask.
–
–
Next, I moved on to the coloring.
I used Stampin’ Blends:
Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie
Light and Dark Old Olive
Light Daffodil Delight
and the Color Lifter.
After coloring, I adhered a piece of Painted Autumn designer paper.
Then, I attached a Peekaboo Peach bow.
And for the final touch, I added some Stampin’ Blend dot accents
that I domed with Fine Tip Glue Pen.

Project 2
–
You know I love little treats and making boxes.
I couldn’t resist making a little favor!
–
–
For my favor box, I used a another piece of Painted Autumn designer paper.
This box is made just a little differently than the triangle box I shared a week ago.
I cut a Very Vanilla circle with a Stitched Shapes Framelit.
Then, I stamped my little birdie from Cheery Chirps.
The fun color scheme was inspired by some of the birds I’ve been saving to a Pinterest board.
Again, I used Stampin’ Blends:
Light Daffodil Delight
Light Pool Party
Light and Dark Bermuda Bay
Light and Dark Old Olive
Light Cherry Cobbler
Light Smokey Slate
Bronze
and the Color Lifter.
(Stampin’ Blends will be available in my store on November 1)
Once I finished coloring, I added some Fine Tip Glue to the berries to give them some dimension.
Then I backed the bird with Gold Glimmer paper cut with the Starburst punch.
–
–
I used some of the beautiful Metallic Edge ribbon to create a belly band.
This way the box is pretty on both sides!
