Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Welcome to my website! Today is the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. But, the design team have expanded on that a little bit as our European friends do not have access to the Snowfall Accents. We’re excited to show you how we’re creating with this fun product!
- beginner/simple stamping: quick, easy projects needing limited supplies; clean and simple cards;
- casual stamping: takes a little more time, uses some tools, more embellishments, creations for an occasion;
- avid stamping: more time, techniques, tools, whatever it is, I want to do it!

Beginner / Simple Card

The Feels Like Frost designer paper is ideal for simple,
handmade Christmas cards!
Here, it’s paired with a sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas.

Keeping it simple but amping it up just a bit,
you can add small drops of
Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to some of the frosted details in the image.
Then, sprinkle on a tiny bit of Ice Stampin’ Glitter.
Heat to set and puff
for a glittery snow effect.

Casual

For the casual stamper, Gift Tags might be just the thing!
Here you’ll use the Cup of Christmas stamp set
and coordinating Cup of Cheer dies.
Accent the bottom of the tag with Feels Like Frost designer paper.

Use the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint to create “whipped cream”
for your cup.
Tip: “Draw” it on with some separation
to create fluffier looking whipped cream.

Avid Card

My pre-ordered Christmas Rose bundle came on Friday.
I couldn’t wait to pull it out to color it!
But, coloring was not what I was supposed to be doing.
As I was fine tuning, I realized what this needed…

While the rose has a stamp to fill it in,
I felt like I needed to color it first before playing with
all of the other elements.

Since I had colored the rose red, I really wanted to leave the berries white.
But, they weren’t showing up.
So, I “colored” some liberally with Clear Wink of Stella,
some I dotted with Snowfall Accents Puff Paint
and some I left white and added shadows.

The leaves and pine cones offer lots of opportunity
for blending and layering color
with your Stampin’ Blends.

A simple mat layer finishes this card.
I’m sure I’ll be playing with the rest of the bundle soon!
And looking for more ways to use the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint.
Thanks for stopping in today!

Fabulous projects and ideas for using the puff paint Sara. Love the frothy coffee .. it is a weakness of mine so I really love this idea. xxx
Thanks, Cheryll! I’m with you — what’s not to love about some froth with our coffee.
Sara, I love the creative ways you used Puff Paint on your projects!!! What great ideas, especially creating whipped cream. Also, the coloring on your rose is AMAZING!!! ❤
Thanks, Tami! I’m really not a colorer (not sure that’s a word) but, I couldn’t wait to see what the Christmas Rose set looked like colored.
