Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Welcome to my blog! Today the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Sneak Peek 2019 will feature design team favorites. One of my favorites is the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle! I used it today to create clean and simple cards at three levels.
- beginner/simple stamping: quick, easy projects needing limited supplies; clean and simple cards;
- casual stamping: takes a little more time, uses some tools, more embellishments, creations for an occasion;
- avid stamping: more time, techniques, tools, whatever it is, I want to do it!

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Sneak Peek 2019
Simple Stamping Card

For this simple stamping card,
you’ll need a Thick Whisper White base.
Stamp the Magnolia bud in Basic Gray.
Then add a touch of color with a Sponge Dauber
and Blushing Bride ink.
Finish with the sentiment in Basic Gray.

Casual Stamping Card

To step the card up just a notch,
you’ll use the new Delightful Tag Topper Punch.
Stamp the sentiment first in the lower right corner.

After stamping two buds onto the tag,
add leaves extending out past the edge of the tag.
Add Powder Pink 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon (retiring)
and tie it off with Silver Metallic Thread.

Avid Stamping Card

Still keeping the card clean and simple, you’ll step it up again!
The Magnolia is such an elegant flower, it practically makes the card itself!

Stamp the Magnolia and two buds in Basic Gray.
Then cut with the Magnolia Memory Dies.
Again, use a Sponge Dauber to add Blushing Bride to the flowers.
Then, color the leaves and stems with Stampin’ Blends.

To add shadows below the flower and sentiment,
use a stamp from Geared Up Garage in Blushing Bride.
Stamp off first if you ink pad is juicy.
Grab the Geared Up Garage Bundle by June 3 to receive
the Bundle Discount!

Stamp the sentiment on a separate piece and fussy cut.
Then add small loops of Silver Metallic Thread.

Finish with a few Clear Rhinestones to add just a bit of bling
to this clean and simple
Good Morning Magnolia card.

Beautiful 3 levels of your creations, Sara. I love the subtle hint of pink (Blushing Bride) on your magnolias. D x
Thanks, Denita! I was pleasantly surprised that just a hint of color was all that was needed.
So pretty! I love that Magnolia bundle! You’ve really showcased how simple or detailed it can be!
Thanks, Lynsay! I hope that all stampers can see this at their style level.
Beautiful cards Sara and great Step-up work!
Thanks, Yvonne! I’m trying to show a progression more often.
Sara, these are so beautiful!!!! And I agree, this flower is beautiful with just a tiny color added to it! Your cards are a great example for each style of crafter…love them!!!
Thanks, Eva! I know I’ll eventually go “over the top” with this set but…it’s pretty amazing just clean.
Very pretty cards. Like the use of stamp sets you wouldn’t normally associate with florals.
Thanks, Ruth! That set has some great texture to add to almost anything!!
Absolutely beautiful cards Sarah! So elegant and a delight to look at. Coloured in so lovely too. Xxxx
Thanks, Sharni! I was surprised this simple coloring technique worked so well for this flower.
