Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. And I must say, I love my job! I had so much fun creating samples for today’s Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! I might have gotten carried away, in a good way. We’re featuring a trio of products: Floral Romance, Piece of Cake and Beautifully Detailed Laser Cut Paper. You’re going to love the inspiration the design team have for you!!

- beginner/simple stamping: quick, easy projects needing limited supplies; clean and simple cards;

Casual Cards

For this first casual, clean and simple birthday card, add a
2-1/4″ Calypso Coral circle.

Tip: Punch a piece of cardstock with the Cake Builder Punch.
Then use this template to place the cake and pedestal on your block
so that you can punch both stamped images at one time.

Add loops of Gold Metallic Thread with a Mini Glue Dot.
Then use Mini Dimensionals to adhere the punched cake and pedestal.

Finish this Piece of Cake card with a trio of Faceted Dots.

For this variation, add a strip of vellum from
the Floral Romance specialty designer paper.
Then layer with 2-1/4″ circle in Calypso Coral,
loops of gold Metallic Thread
and a Whisper White focal circle with the stamped cake and pedestal.
Finish with Faceted Dots.

This third clean and simple birthday card is another
subtle shift in elements.

Use the Quilt Top embossing folder to add detail
to the 2-1/4″ Calypso Coral circle.
Then, layer with gold Metallic Thread and
the images from Piece of Cake.

Avid Card

For the avid card, you’ll be adding lots of layers and texture!

Add a layer of Floral Romance designer paper to a
piece of Calypso Coral cut to form a micro border.
Over that is a strip of Calypso Coral layered with a piece of vellum
from the Floral Romance designer paper.

Add a Stitched Shapes circle stamped with “happy birthday”
in Calypso Coral.
Then, layer with Calypso Coral Satin Ribbon and
gold Mini Sequin Trim.
Add a Calypso Coral circle embossed with the Quilt Top folder.
Tuck in loops of gold Metallic Thread
and top with the Piece of Cake images in Calypso Coral.

Finish with sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Mix.
