Hi! Welcome to my blog. Today, the Stamping Sunday design team is giving you a sneak peek of one of the stamps sets from the upcoming Occasions Catalog. We were all excited to receive this stamp set last month at OnStage. Joining us this week is our guest designer Brian King. He brings a great, clean style with his projects. Let’s get started! I can’t wait to see all of the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Picture Perfect Birthday creations!!

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Picture Perfect Birthday
–
Look at all these great images and sentiments
in the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set!
–
–
For my card, I started with a Pool Party base layered with a piece of Whisper White.
Next, I used the dotted image to create to strips that resemble ribbon.
Then, I tucked in a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper with a scallop edge.
–
–
After embossing the bow image in silver, I stamped the center with both
Pool Party and Memento Black.
Then, I cut out the bow with a Stitched Shapes Framelit
before adding loops of Silver Metallic Thread.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment and added a Rhinestone accent.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Picture Perfect Birthday
Project 2
Popcorn Box Favor or Gift Box
–
–
Staying with the color theme, I cut the Popcorn Box from Pool Party.
Then, I cut one additional panel from Whisper White.
I trimmed the panel 1/16″ from each side inside the embossed lines.
At the top, I tucked in a Silver Glimmer Paper scallop.
–
–
At the bottom of the Whisper White panel, I stamped the dotted image.
Next, I stamped two noise makers and cut them out by hand.
Over those are loops of Silver Metallic Thread and another embossed bow.
And to finish, a Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

Perfect as ever Sara 🙂 Love them all!
Thank you Lea! That’s sweet of you.
Sara, I love the colour combination of your two projects. What most interested me was the stamped bow and how realistic it looked both on the card and the treat box.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! Love that two step bow. I predict you’ll see it show up on more projects.
You had me at Pool Party, then Silver Glimmer and the Popcorn Box! Gorgeous creations, Sara. D x
Thanks Denita! I agree, Pool Party and silver are just yummy together.
oooh! The bow in silver embossing is stunning and I love the look of the stitched shapes to cut it out! And of course, you stole my heart with he popcorn box (I’m a sucker for gift boxes!). CUTE!
Thanks Lynsay! The popcorn box was begging to be played with — it had been neglected for far too long.
Great projects Sara! Love the silver gift bows on them! Great idea xx
Thank Yvonne! So many possibilities for using that stamp…
