Oh So Eclectic for Stamping Sunday
–
–
I decided on a black and white color scheme with a little added glitz.
Over my Basic Black base is a Whisper White layer.
Then, I added a strip of Basic Black embossed with the 3D dynamic Ruffled folder.
Next, I swiped the Versamark pad across the raised ruffles and heat embossed in silver.
–
–
I used the Oh So Eclectic stamp set to stamp images on Whisper White and Basic Black.
Then, I sheer embossed some pieces and others are heat embossed in the usual way.
After cutting out the stamped images and extra pieces using the Eclectic Layers Thinlits,
I assembled the pieces using lots of Dimensionals.
The final touch was a few silver embossed Pearls Basic Gems.

I decided my card looked like it was ready for a special occasion.
So, I made a Mini Treat Bag to go with it.
Perfect for a gift or favor!
After assembling the Basic Black bag, I accented the bottom with Pick a Pattern Washi.

–
Then, I stamped and cut images using Oh So Eclectic and the coordinating Eclectic Layers Thinlits.
Again, I used lots of Dimensionals when assembling my bag decoration.
Next, I tucked in strips of Silver Mini Sequin Trim and loops of Silver Metallic Thread.
Final embellishments were silver Pearl Basic Gems and some faux silver leaf.
(I’ll have quick technique videos that coordinate with today’s post beginning Tuesday afternoon.)

Wauw, this looks great in these colors Sara! Never thought of it! Your projects look so elegant.. xx
Thanks Yvonne. Sometimes I like just a black and white card.
Wow, Sara! Black, White & Silver looking absolutely gorgeous. How lovely to think outside the square and offer a different colour opportunity. Love them. D xox
Thank you Denita! Now, I need to try out all of the other combinations with this set.
What an amazing use of this set Sara. Love all the glimmer in unexpected places. the strip cut from the 3D embossed wave panel is such a great anchor for all those pieces.
Thank you Liz! I need to play more with the 3D folder. It arrived just in time for this creation.
Wow these are SO elegant! I love all the glamour and glitz and the glitter on the ruffle is just beautiful 🙂
Thanks so much Lea!! I love all the silvery bits that Stampin’ Up! has available.
Wow – this suite is striking in any colour combination, but I am fascinated by this one. Amazing!!! Thanks for the totally different inspiration Sara, and hosting yet another successful Stamping Sunday blog hop! Kelly x
Thank you Kelly! I think you are absolutely right — whatever the color combination this suite is striking!!
I love you projects, Sara. So chic & sophisticated with the black, white and silver.
Thank you Danielle! It was fun to take this set in a “different” direction.
