Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Mercury Glass Acetate
Clean and Simple Card

For this clean and simple card,
start with a Thick Whisper White card base.
Add a layer of Whisper White topped with a strip of
Mercury Glass designer acetate.
Stamp the sentiment from Beautiful Friendship
and heat emboss in silver.
Accent with loops of Silver Metallic Thread
and add the punched sentiment to finish.

Casual Card

For this casual card,
start with a Thick Whisper White base.
Then add a Coastal Cabana layer.
On the Whisper White layer,
add a watercolor wash of
Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock.

Using your Layering Circles,
cut a piece of Mercury Glass Designer Acetate.
Add loops of Whisper White Baker’s Twine.
Stamp the sentiment from Perennial Birthday
in Coastal Cabana.
With Detailed Bands dies,
cut out the sentiment and the Coastal Cabana layer.
Accent with a strip of Silver Foil Sheet.

Avid Card

For the avid card using the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate,
you’ll switch from birthday to Christmas
using Christmas Gleaming.

After die cutting the Balmy Blue layer
with a Stitched Nested Labels die,
emboss with your Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

Stamp the holly from Christmas Gleaming.
Then, color with Stampin’ Blends.
Using your Paper Snips, cut out the holly.

Cut an ornament from the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate
and add to a Pacific Point blended background.

Stamp your sentiment in Pacific Point.
After punching, accent with Rhinestones.

Layer your pieces over Silver Foil Sheet
before adding to your card base.

How did you die cut this Designer Acetate? With or without the protective film?
Hi Gloria, I don’t think it makes a difference when you remove the film. I did die cut first and then removed it. But, that was more about me forgetting the film than choosing.
