Lovely Friends Bundle 50th Anniversary
When I pulled out the Lovely Friend Bundle,
I was immediately in love with the Lovely Laurel Thinlits!
As you may know, I LOVE dies!!
So, I couldn’t wait to play with them.
I created a clean and simple 50th Anniversary card.
The new Thick Very Vanilla cardstock is to die for!
I used it for my card base
and then, I used it for the Lovely Laurel die cuts on the front of the card.
It has such nice body!
Using the new Happy Birthday Thinlits, I cut a piece of
Gold Foil Paper and trimmed just the “Happy”.
For just a little bling,
I added some sequins from the Metallics Sequins Assortment.
Now, the inside is the show stopper!
There are TWO pop up features in the Lovely Laurels Thinlits!!
You can use them together or separately.
I used both.
Then, I stamped a 50 using the Number of Years stamp set.
Next, I embossed the numbers in gold before
cutting them out with the Large Numbers Framelits.
Isn’t the pop up wonderful!?!
Next,
I decided a 50th Anniversary needed a party.
And a party needs a centerpiece.
Again, I used the Lovely Laurel Thinlits and paired them with a
50 from Number of Years.
It created a perfect, simple topper or pick for the centerpiece.
I used Delightful Dijon 5/8″ Mini Striped Ribbon to wrap
my planter pot.
The ribbon color works beautifully with the gold theme of a 50th Anniversary.
For the next piece of table decor,
I created a simple, elegant napkin ring.
The same Delightful Dijon ribbon works as the base.
For the ring, I wrapped the ribbon around the napkin
and then topped it with a piece stamped
with images from Lovely Friends.
(Notice the length of Gold Sequin Trim? It’s a great, simple addition to table decor!)
After stamping the images in Versamark, I embossed them in gold.
Then, I cut out the piece using the Lovely Laurels Thinlits.
Finally, I used the thinlits to cut three sprigs from
Gold Foil Paper.
