Hi! Welcome to my blog. Today is the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Lots of Happy Birthday. The design team are excited share some alternative ideas for ways to use the Lots of Happy and Perennial Birthday kits from the Occasions Catalog. Boy have we had fun coming up with ideas! And, we’ve invited Dani Dziama to be our special guest designer this week. I’m sure you’re going to love what she and the rest of the team have come up with for these kits!!

Card 1
For today’s hop, I played with the Perennial Birthday Kit.
First, I created this tabbed card starting with one of the card bases in the kit.
Using a strip cut from the card base and the Envelope Punch Board, I created the tab.
The card is wrapped with Gold Satin Ribbon and tied with Dapper Denim Baker’s Twine.
Both are in the kit.
Then, I added one of the beautiful tags from the kit.
After stamping a sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set,
I added the banner to the tag.
Then, I stamped flowers from Perennial Birthday on Flirty Flamingo.
And, I discovered that one of the dies from the Sweet Cake Framelits
fits these flowers pretty well!!
While I had the Sweet Cake Framelits out, I cut a couple of roses from Flirty Flamingo as well.
Inside on the tabbed card, I stamped more images from Perennial Birthday.
Then, I took a paintbrush and painted on some Versamark so that I could gold emboss
part of the Marina Mist berries.

Card 2
For my second alternative card, I created a shaker using the left over frame from the
beautiful tag used on the first card.
Using one of the Petal Pair embossing folders, I embossed the frame.
Then, I stamped a cluster of images from Perennial Birthday on a Whisper White layer.
For the shaker bits, I added Iridescent Sequins and Gold Glitter Flakes.

Favor
For my final alternative creation with this kit, I made a little favor box.
Once again, I used one of the beautiful tags in the kit.
After assembling a Dapper Denim box, I adhered half of the tag to each side of the base.
Then, I tied on a piece of Dapper Denim Baker’s Twine.
Over that is a piece of punched Vellum and another flower stamped with Perennial Birthday.
To finish the favor box, I added one o the gold tassel stickers and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
