Feels Like Frost Simple Stamping Card

Imagine my surprise while creating last week
when I realized my favorite product from
the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog
had chosen me rather than I it!
Turns out, my favorite product is the Feels Like Frost designer paper.
I just keep reaching for it!
See it HERE
For this simple stamping card,
you’ll start with a Night of Navy base cut to 4-1/4″ x 11″.
This print reminds me of that blue time of day you get
on a Winter evening.
It makes a beautiful card with just the Feel Like Frost paper.
But by adding a sentiment, you’ve got a quick and easy Christmas card!

Feels Like Frost Casual Stamping Card with Merry Moose

To step the simple stamping card up to casual stamping,
you’ll add a couple of simple details.
Start by stamping two moose from Merry Moose
and coloring with Stampin’ Blends
to continue that feel of the blue time of day.
You’ll use the coordinating Moose Punch to cut them out.
Then, add an accent of Silver Foil cut with a Beautiful Layers die.

Feels Like Frost Avid Stamping Card with Merry Moose

For this Avid card,
you’ll add just a few more simple details.
It really is easy to step up a card!

The first detail you’ll add is a frame
embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder.
Again, you’ll use the Silver Foil accent cut with the Beautiful Layers die.

Stamp a tree in Pretty Peacock
and cut by hand.
Then add some Embossing Paste as snow.

Then, you’ll finish your picture — I mean card
with the two moose
colored with Stampin’ Blends.
These cards are perfect for the holidays or any time
you’re sending to an outdoor loving friend or need a masculine card.

Beautiful! I love that suite as well! I like how you used the DSP as background for the moose!
Thanks, Lynsay! This suite has been such fun to play with!!
Great cards Sara! The DSP is perfect for ‘step-up-work’!!
Thanks, Yvonne! I agree — the designer paper makes it really easy to go from simple to more.
These cards are beautiful! Who would have thought to create a blue moose? I love it! The frame is super cool!!!
Thanks, Tammy! Now that I’ve departed from nature, I may have to try the moose in other colors.
Sara, what a beautiful set of cards for each style of crafter. Love the paper of course, like you do and how clever were you to create a frame and emboss it with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing folder and I just adore the way you colored the moose! Fabulous cards!
Thanks, Eva! Who says moose have to be brown – LOL
Wow, love your blue moose 🙂 he is too cute! I will definitely have to try recreating him! he goes so well with the beautiful background DSP! Great set of cards, thank you for sharing 🙂
Thank you, Anne! So glad you enjoyed the set of cards. I hope you will give the moose a try.
Lovely way to show off the papers
Thanks, Ruth. These papers can definitely do the heavy lifting!

Thanks, Sharni! I hate to say it but it’s the paper. It just makes everything look great.
