I’m using Christmas Quilt for Stamping Sunday and can’t wait to see what the rest of the team have used!!

Christmas Quilt for Stamping Sunday
–
I went two completely different directions with my creations.
Both use the Christmas Quilt stamp set.
But, I played with ideas to expand the range beyond Christmas.
–
–
I used a Basic Black base followed by a Whisper White layer.
On the bottom, I stamped with an image from Christmas Quilt.
I alternated stamping in Basic Black and Melon Mambo.
Tip: To line up the image, lightly mark the center. Then, stamp from the center outward and up.
–
–
Next, I added Texture Paste that I had tinted Basic Black and Melon Mambo.
Once it had dried, I added a length of 7/8″ Striped Ribbon.
Tip: Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet is the perfect adhesive for the ribbon!
For the sentiment, I cut an oval with a Stitched Shapes Framelit.
Then, I stamped the sentiment from Great Big Greetings in Melon Mambo.
The finishing touch was loops of Silver Mini Sequin Trim.

Christmas Quilt for Stamping Sunday – TWO
–
As I mentioned above, I went an entirely different direction with this one.
–
–
As soon as I saw the Quilt Builder Framelits, all I could think was “box”.
Which is perfect as I’ve been loving favors, RAKs, treat holders this past week!
My little “pumpkin” box starts with a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock.

–
After cutting a piece of Wild Wasabi with the Quilt Builder Framelits,
I stamped in Wild Wasabi.
The images for the top are from Christmas Quilt.
Tip: After cutting the top piece, leave the framelit around it. This will make stamping the images even easier.
To finish the top, I added a curl of Wild Wasabi cardstock and a Gold Faceted Gem.
I can’t wait to make a few more of these to share this Fall!

I’d love to be your demonstrator if you live in the United States!
I love the “non-Christmas” spin you took with your projects! The geometric pattern on the card is something I wouldn’t have thought to do! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks Lynsay! I love to find alternate ways to use things.
I’m loving your little pumpkin box and geometric card, Sara!
Thanks Danielle! I’ve been “feeling” the geometric design the last few days.
Hello Sara,
I love this set too! Your card is so cool an I love your little pumkin box!

Thank you Anja! I love that we have such entirely different creations with the same set — one of my favorite things about stamping!!
I love your ‘Christmas Quilt’ creations without Christmas in sight! Absolutely loving the pumpkin box. And can’t wait to see what else you have up your sleeve. Love hopping with you. D xox
Thanks Denita! My brain just won’t let me think Christmas yet.
