Casual

For my casual creation, I’m sharing the treat holders for my Happiness Blooms classes today and tomorrow.
The base is a piece of Night of Navy cardstock.
The top has been punched with the Detailed Trio Punch
and tied together with Night of Navy Baker’s Twine.

Use part of a Happiness Blooms Memories and More card.
Stamp a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings in Night of Navy
on a Whisper White banner.
Then, fill with two mini Ghirardelli squares.

Avid

For this card, you’ll start with one of the large Happiness Blooms Memories and More card and envelopes.
Add the specialty card with Dimensionals.
Then, add a layer of Velllum to slightly mute the card underneath.

Use your Stamparatus® to stamp the large and small blooms from
Bloom by Bloom.
You’ll add layers of color with Sponge Daubers.
Do the same with the stem.

Cut Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green with
Beautiful Layers Thinlits.
Use a Stitched Shapes circle to cut a piece of Petal Pink.
Add an accent of Gold Mini Sequin Trim.
And add loops of Copper Metallic Thread behind the large bloom.
Finish with Pearl Basic Jewels.

What a beautiful card Sara! I love the velum in between the layers, it softens the colours and allows the lovely flower to shine. And the gift pouch is a super cute and quick idea! x
Thanks! Sharni. Vellum is wonderful — it’s almost its own simple technique.
Great project Sara! Your littke gift is a great idea!
Thanks! Yvonne. I loved how simple that little gift was to make. You could make a million (well not quite) with the Memories and More cards.
Lovely cards, especially the last one, great use of the vellum to soften the design.
Thanks, Ruth! It was fun to take the last one a little over the top. The first two projects were perfect for today’s class.
Three gorgeous projects Sara! Loving the range of creations for the different crafting abilities. The avid card is just stunning! The layer of vellum makes for a softer look to the bright colours and I love the two tone look to the flower and stem. Thanks for sharing! Rochelle xo
Thank you, Rochelle! It’s amazing how different a piece of Vellum can make things look.
Sara, these are all so fabulous! I love how the Memory and More card packs made these cards so easy to create!
Thanks! Eva. I agree, this Memories and More pack is like “snap” and you’ve got a card!
