Stamping Sunday Blog Hop – Fabulous Foil Project 1

The Fabulou Foil Acetate is fabulous!!
It takes a creation to a whole new level.
I’ve used a Berry Burst card base followed by a Berry Burst layer.
Then, I stamped the image from Floral Phrases in Berry Burst –
one at full strength and two stamped off.
I cut out the full strength image by hand.
–
–
After adding part of a Striped Treat Bag and some Fresh Florals Designer Paper,
I tucked in a piece of Fabulous Foil Acetate.
Then, I layered on a Gold Foil circle, Island Indigo leaves and some Gold Mini Sequin Trim.
The sentiment is from Floral Phrases and is accented with a Pearl Basic Gem.

–
At the bottom of the card, I accented the Fancy Foil Acetate
with a Pearl Basic Gem and a Gold Faceted Gem.
Tip: Should you prefer to create with silver instead, remember the Fabulous Foil Acetate has a silver design on the reverse side!

This past winter I discovered Stroopwaffels!
Let me just say — YUM-MY!!
I’ve tried to keep them on hand ever since as they make a delightful little gift.
My packaging starts with a piece of Berry Burst cardstock.
I shaped the top edge of the cardstock with the Ticket Tear Border Punch.
Then, I wrapped it with the front panel of a Striped Treat Bag.
I just love those shiny foil stripes!!
–
–
Next, I tucked in a piece of Fabulous Foil Acetate.
After tying on a lush bow of Berry Burst 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding and Gold 1/8″ Ribbon,
I added a couple of Pearl Basic Gems and a Gold Faceted Gem.
–
–
In the top left corner, I added two sets of die cut Island Indigo leaves.
They are topped with a loop of Gold Mini Sequin Trim.
And the final detail is a flower cut from one of the Color Theory Memories and More cards.
Even if I didn’t know what was inside, I would be happy receiving this package!

Thank you Kim. They’re a pair of toasted waffle cookies with a caramel, cinnamon and bourbon vanilla filling — the manufacturer is Daelmans.
