Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the US. Today the Stamping Sunday design team is bringing you an Easter Parade themed blog hop. Let’s check out what I’ve made to share with you.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Easter Parade

For most of my daughter’s growing up years, we would head to the beach for a week each Spring with my parents. And one of the things we enjoyed watching for was the lovely purple racemes hanging in the trees along the way. In fact, they might have been the first flowers my daughter learned to identify.

With wisteria in mind after creating the faux watercolor background, I cut layers of Purple Posy and Highland Heather with the Wreath Builder Dies. I love the soft variegated look these two purples give layered against each other.
PS – do remember that Purple Posy is one of the In Colors that will retire at the end of next month.

Next, I stamped the cute bunny from Springtime Joy. Then, I added some shading and colored her flower headband with Stampin’ Blends.

And to finish, I added a multiloop faux bow and sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment.
Springtime Joy Easter Spring Favor

I love when it’s super simple to transfer/coordinate a card design with a favor or treat box. And I love having little favors that are easy to create so that I have them to gift away. This Springtime Joy certainly fits into that category.

For this favor, I used one of the 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ Acetate Card Boxes. I’m been using them a lot lately for packaging little treats.
For this iteration, I wrapped the whole height of the box with Seaside Spray cardstock. (Don’t forget, Seaside Spray is a retiring In Color).
For the band:
Cut: 3″ x 8-1/2″
Score: 1-7/8″, 2-3/4″, 5-7/8″, 6-3/4″
Then, I added the pieces cut with the Wreath Builder Dies. And finished with the darling lamb from Springtime Joy colored with Stampin’ Blends.
