Colorful Seasons for Stamping Sunday Blog Hop – Color Theory
For my first creation, I concentrated on the Colorful Seasons stamp set that is part of the Color Theory Suite.
–
–
I used a Basic Black base for my card.
Then, I added a Lemon Lime Twist scallop cut with the
Seasonal Layers Thinlits.
–
–
Next, I stamped a layer of Whisper White
using two leaf images from Colorful Seasons.
After creating my pattern with the Lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black leaves,
I added a piece of Pick a Pattern washi.
The sentiment was stamped on a Lemon Lime Twist leaf and cut out with a coordinating
thinlit from Seasonal Layers.
The remaining pieces of the sentiment were cut with the Pretty Label Punch
and then reassembled.
Final touches are the black sequins from the Mini Sequin Trim.
–
Next, I used Colorful Seasons again and
–
–
and some Color Theory designer paper to
create a gift card holder.
–
For the front, I stamped images from Colorful Seasons in Berry Burst.
–
–
The images were cut out with the new 2-1/4″ Circle Punch and a coordinating thinlit.
I cut the scallop top with a thinlit from Seasonal Layers.
Then, I wrapped a piece of 1/2″ Finely Woven Berry Burst ribbon around
the gift card holder and tied it up with some
Silver Mini Sequin Trim.
–
Inside…
–
–
I used a side piece from the Wood Crate Framelits
to make the holder for my gift card.
I’ll be using this creation for graduation presents!
