Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the United States. Welcome to my blog and the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Change of Seasons! Today, I’m sharing two Fall themed cards using Waterfall Canyon and Garden Grandeur and video tutorials for both cards. Let’s take a look!

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Change of Seasons
Waterfall Canyon Stamp Set and Waterfall Dies

Sooo….the Waterfall Canyon stamp set was on my “I’ll have to think about that list”. Not because I didn’t like it. I love stampscape sets! They’re such fun to play with and create scenes. But, I really, really wanted a set of dies to cut down on masking and/or fussy cutting.
Well, the Stampin’ Up! fairy godmothers granted my wish with the Waterfall Dies that came out his month! So of course, Waterfall Canyon went from may be to “yes, please”.

Waterfall Canyon Fall Card

This change of seasons card makes me think of the view as I drive through the mountains this time of year. The trees have begun to turn and it’s just beautiful!
I’ve tried to recreate the layers of color surrounding us right now in this stampscape card.

Using the Waterfall Dies made creating this stampscape soo easy! I didn’t have to worry about precise placement of each of my elements as I stamped.
And, it was great to have all of the pieces to add dimension to the scene.
This card is perfect for “just because”, thinking of you, a celebratory card for a lover of the great outdoors and of course a masculine card need.

Garden Grandeur Fall Birthday Card

For my second, I used the Garden Grandeur stamp set to create a birthday card with a Fall color palette. Garden Grandeur is one of the sets that you can purchase with your Stampin’ Rewards.
I like it for all of the line art images in the set. This makes it perfect if I’m feeling like it’s a coloring day. And when I’m not feeling like coloring, there are fill images for all of the line art — you know, a two step stamp set. Either way is a win!

To finish out my bouquet of flowers, I added some die cut elements cut with Organic Beauty Dies.
And, I accented with some Brushed Metallic Dots.
