Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Today is the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Amazing Life. We’ve got lots of ideas for you for ways to use the Amazing Life stamp set. And, many of the design team will offer creations at 3 levels:
- beginner/simple stamping: quick, easy projects needing limited supplies; clean and simple cards;
- casual stamping: takes a little more time, uses some tools, more embellishments, creations for an occasion;
- avid stamping: more time, techniques, tools, whatever it is, I want to do it!

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Amazing Life
Simple Stamping Card

For this card, use a Night of Navy base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
On the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White panel,
stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy
and the border in Bermuda Bay.

Tip: Line the card front up on Grid Paper
so that the border stamp with be in line with a grid line.
This will help you keep the border straight from side to side.

Casual Stamping Card

For this card, stamp the sentiment
then stamp just the word “cake”.
Color it in with Stampin’ Blends.
Wrap the focal panel with Night of Navy Medium Baker’s Twine.
Then, accent with Clear Rhinestones.
Adhere the panel with Dimensionals.

Avid Stamping Card

Start with a Night of Navy base
and add a layer of Bermuda Bay.

Add visual interest with stamps, die cuts and ribbon
before adding the layered sentiment.

Die cut around the word “cake” and offset it
while adding a Well Written “birthday” die cut.

Don’t forget to finish the inside of your card
with this cute cake in Bermuda Bay.
Here’s a video for creating the Avid Stamping card.

Cornelia
Thanks! Cornelia. It’s fun to give different style choices.
Love them all but the Avid is definitely my jam!
Thanks! Ashley. It was fun to really let the horses run with that one.
Beautiful cards, dear Sara!
xx Manuela
Thanks! Manuela. I need to play with this set some more.
I love how you elevated each card in the progression. All your cards look amazing!
Thanks, Tami! I think it helps sometimes to kind of see the thought process.
Fabulous cards Sara … but the Avid card is amazing. What a great idea to incorporate the die cut word birthday into the greeting! Love it. xx
Thanks, Cheryll! Glad you enjoyed my fun with the sentiment.
Your cards are so pretty Sara ;O)
Thanks so much, Janneke!
