Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Welcome to my blog! I’m hopping with my Stamping Sunday design team friends today. And for our theme this month, we’re using ribbon. We’ve got lots of creative ways to include ribbon in your projects! So, let’s take a look at what I’ve create for the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop All Tied Up. Then be sure to check out the rest of the team’s inspiration!
Today’s projects are created in three styles / levels:
- beginner/simple stamping: quick, easy projects needing limited supplies; clean and simple cards;
- casual stamping: takes a little more time, uses some tools, more embellishments, creations for an occasion;
- avid stamping: more time, techniques, tools, whatever it is, I want to do it!

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop All Tied Up
Daisy Lane Simple Stamping Card

For this simple stamping no layer card,
use a Whisper White Note Card and Envelope.
Cut a mask from text weight paper
for both the large and small daisy in Daisy Lane.
Stamp the small daisy in Terracotta Tile first.
Mask it, then stamp the larger daisy.
After masking both flowers, stamp the ferns in Mossy Meadow.
And finish by tying on Braided Linen Trim.

Daisy Lane Copper Dotted Treat Bag

The Dotted Copper Treat Bags are really beautiful all on their own!
Dressed up they’re even more so.
Start with a Beautiful Layers die cut in Terracotta Tile.
Stamp ferns in Mossy Meadow and fussy cut.
Then stamp two each of the small and large daisies.
Use the coordinating punches to cut them out.
To shape the ferns and daisies, use your Bone Folder.

Add a loop of Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon.
Next, spritz Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon
Wind the linen ribbon around a pencil and use your Heat Tool
to dry it to the curled shape.
Keep the Heat Tool moving so that you do not burn the ribbon.
Layer with the ferns and daisy.
And accent with a Gold Faceted Gem.

Daisy Lane Avid Fall Card

For this last card, you’re going to create a non-standard card.
It’s perfect for giving to someone rather than mailing.
Start with a base of Crumb Cake and layer with Terracotta Tile.
Then, splatter the Whisper White panel with Terracotta Tile ink.

Stamp and punch daisies from Daisy Lane.
And make two multi-layered daisies.
Die cut a branch using Seasonal Layers.
And, cut some leaves using a Frosted Bouquet die.

After punching Terracotta Tile cardstock with the 1-1/8″ Scallop Circle,
snip, layer, spritz and crumple to form flowers.

Tuck in loops of Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon.
Divide some Grapefruit Grove Nature’s Twine
and wind it through.
Then finish with some In Color Faceted Dots.
Thanks for stopping in today!

My goodness, Very Beautiful cards. Thank you for sharing..😊
Thank you, Penny! I’m still amazed by the variety you can create with a stamp set.
Hi Sara . What beautiful cards , just my kind of style and colour theme . If someone had sent me this card, for any occasion . I would definitely keep it on my shelf .
Thanks, Heather! I’m like you and enjoy dimension on my cards.
Sara, these are all stunning. I never thought of curling my ribbons this way, genius
Thanks, Tanya! Just be careful with that heat tool.
Hey Sara, beautiful cards … however I am with Mikaela, the avid card is absolutely amazing!! It is an amazing floral display and the ribbon is perfect! 🙂 xxx
Thanks, Cheryll! I most often think “bow” when I think “ribbon”. I’ll be doing more of the loops as they were such an easy way to add a little ribbon.
Wow Sara, these cards are amazing! Those little crinkled flowers on your avid card are brilliant. 💕
Thanks, Tami! I’m so happy with all of the punches we have to make flowers with!!
Oh my Sara … These are all beautiful, but your last card, the Avid, is stunning! So much beautiful detail x
Thanks, Mikaela! I had such fun creating it.
