Today’s cards will be in three categories:
- beginner/simple stamping: quick, easy projects needing limited supplies; clean and simple cards;
- casual stamping: takes a little more time, uses some tools, more embellishments, creations for an occasion;
- avid stamping: more time, techniques, tools, whatever it is, I want to do it!
Stamping Sunday Blog Hop Above the Clouds
Simple Stamping Card

For this simple stamping, no layer card
start with one of the Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes.
- Ink the clouds with your Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Write Marker and stamp off twice on text weight paper before stamping the note card.
- Stamp the balloon outline images in Memento.
- Next, use the hot air balloon fill in stamp and ink one balloon with your Blueberry Bushel marker. Stamp off once and then stamp to fill the outline.
- Then, ink the remaining two balloons with Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Write Markers.
- Color the banner image with your Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Write Marker. Stamp off once them stamp the note card.
- Stamp the sentiment in Memento.
- Accent with one Rhinestone.

Tip: Strip images can easily be pulled out of shape.
So when using the balloon outline strip stamp,
lay it face down on your cardstock or grid paper
and pick it up with your block, this way the stamp will not be twisted/shifted.
When using the fill image, lay it over your stamped outline balloons
and pick up with your block. This will make sure that they will match up when stamping.

Thank you, Annette! So glad you stopped in today. Hope I’ll see you back here soon!
Hi Sara, I love the way you colored the big blue balloon, the shadow is perfect and the balloon doesn’t look flat at all. Great tip about the strip of stamps, but I cut mine, so I have three separate little stamps and can place them anywhere. Yes I’m known as the stamp cutter, hardly have a set without a cut stamp… Thanks for making me a part of this bloghop, love it.
Thanks, Christine! I’ve been known to whack a stamp as well. The two of us may have just horrified someone reading the comments 😉
Love all your cards, especially the colors, but that avid card is AMAZING!!! Way to knock it out of the park!
Thanks, Tami! I was so pleased with how well the Pretty Peacock played with the other colors.
Three gorgeous cards Sara, but the Bendi card …. now that is one stunning creation!!!
Thanks, Cheryll! I had lots of fun with that one!
Beautiful cards you‘ve created.
Thank you, Cornelia.
