Hello! Thanks for joining me today. I’m participating in the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop for June. This month’s theme was to choose something that carried over from a previous catalog. I decided to use Dragonfly Dreams for Stamping Dreams. Let’s check out what I’ve made and then you’ll have the chance to hop around the rest of our international group.

Dragonfly Dreams for Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

I’ve gone with a clean and simple card
that uses the Dragonfly Dreams as the focal point.
The base is Whisper White followed by a layer of Berry Burst.
(I’ve already ordered my second pack of this color as I’m loving it so much!)
On my Whisper White top layer, I used a strip of the Basic Pack 1 Washi.
I can’t begin to tell you how much I love the varied widths and shades in the washi packs!
For the sentiment from Dragonfly Dreams, I used Berry Burst ink.

Next, I cut three circles from the lovely Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Paper using the 1″ Circle Punch.
I couldn’t wait to use this paper with its shiny foil designs!
Then, I stamped the detailed dragonfly in Basic Gray Archival Ink on Whisper White.
I colored the cells on the wings with Watercolor Pencils
and activated the color with Clear Wink of Stella.
Tip: By using the Wink of Stella, the color is not only bolder but also has a shimmer.
I used the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits to cut a piece of Berry Burst cardstock.
After using the Berry Burst Stampin’ Write Marker to add some detail lines to the tail,
I outlined the wings with Fine Tip Glue Pen.
Then, I sprinkled on Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
The new Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals were perfect for under the dragonfly’s body.
I finished the card with a few silver sequins from the Mini Sequin Trim.
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my Dragonfly Dreams for Stamping Dreams card.
