Now for the creative part, on to my Stampin Friends Blog Hop Oh So Eclectic creations.
Stampin Friends Blog Hop Oh So Eclectic
For my base, I used Calypso Coral layered with Flirty Flamingo.
Then, I stamped the Marbled background in Flirty Flamingo and
sprinkled on some gold embossing powder for texture.
To stamp the flowers, I used the Stamparatus.
To make it even easier for the next step, I moved the plate over one hinge slot for each flower.
Then, I lined up the detail stamp and moved the plate back the other direction for each flower.
Easy super duper peasy!!
I stamped the Oh So Eclectic flowers in Calypso Coral.
Then, I stamped the detail in Versamark and heat embossed in gold.
Next, I die cut the flowers, Vellum leaves and Gold Glimmer Paper flowers
using the Eclectic Layers Thinlits.
As you can see, I left some of the detail pieces of the Gold Glimmer Paper die cuts in place.
To add a final note of texture, I tucked in pieces of Gold 1/8″ Ribbon.
Stampin Friends Blog Hop Oh So Eclectic Project 2
For my second project, I created a favor or treat holder.
After punching and scoring the Calypso Coral strip, I die cut the flower.
Then, I cut a second flower from Gold Glimmer Paper and inlaid it.
To hold it in place, I added a piece of Window Sheet on the inside.
Next, I cut the Vellum accents and added sequins.
Using Teeny Tiny Wishes, I stamped the sentiment.
Inside, I added a little platform that is punched so it will hold a Lindt truffle ball.
Then, I tied the favor closed with Gold 1/8″ Ribbon.

Sara,
I absolutely love, love, love this card. It is elegant & just gorgeous. I love that marbled effect & all the shades. I also love the little treat bag Very beautiful duo! What is this marbled stamp you used for the background & how did you do it? Thank you so much for sharing! Whoever you give this card to, will never toss it away. It will be placed somewhere for everyone to see. #SFMARCHBLOGHOP
Thanks so much Nanci! The marbled stamp is in this year’s Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog on page 165. It comes in both wood mount (HERE) and clear mount (HERE) (I prefer my background stamps in clear mount). And, of course you want clear mount to use with a Stamparatus.
Great projects! #SFMARCHBLOGHOP
