Hi! Welcome to my blog today. With just over a week to go, I thought I’d share come quick and easy St. Patrick’s Day creations that I’ve come up with. I’m a big fan of creating little treat holders or favors for any occasion or non-occasion that I can think of. My St. Patrick’s Day Coffee Cup creations are just another way for me to share some treats with friends!
St. Patrick’s Day Coffee Cup Pot of Gold
My little pot of gold is quick and easy!
First, I cut two lids from Garden Green using the Coffee Cup Framelits.
Then, I used my Fine Tip Glue PEn to add a line of glue and sprinkled on Gold Glitter Flakes.
Next, I added a little box between the two coffee cup lids.
It is the perfect size to fit two Hershey’s Nuggets (wrapped in gold of course)!
St. Patrick’s Day Coffee Cup Paddy
Then, I moved on to using the Coffee Cup Framelits lid to create a leprechaun or Paddy.
For his face, I used the third smallest Layering Circles Framelit.
Next, I used the 1-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch to create Paddy’s beard.
Using the Cookie Cutter Punch, I cut his eyes.
I used markers to draw on his mouth and hat band.
And for the buckle on his hat, I drew a square with Fine Tip Glue Pen and embossed with gold.
St. Patrick’s Day Coffee Cup Paddy Box
And the thing that started all of this, was finding a package of green foil wrapped chocolates.
They fit perfectly into a Clear Tiny Treat box.
First, I tied it with some Garden Green Stitched Satin Ribbon.
Then, I added punch art Paddy to the front.
Can’t wait to share him with friends next weekend!
