So yesterday, I realized that I was on a “bold” kick. And today…I realized that I’ve been basically using the same sketch all week. When that thought dawned on me this morning, I thought — “so run with it”. That’s what I’ve done! I decided that one sketch with lots of different cards is a really good thing — even if you didn’t mean for it to happen!

Special Reason with Moroccan Designer Paper
For today’s card I used Special Reason
and a piece of Moroccan designer paper.
This ties in with my “all over” backgrounds that I’ve been using this week.
The base for this card is Early Espresso.
Flowers from Special Reason were stamped in Watermelon Wonder
and Delightful Dijon on Very Vanilla cardstock.
The leaves were inked in Garden Green.
Then, all of these pieces were cut out using the coordinating
Stylish Stems Framelits.
The sentiment was inked in Watermelon Wonder and
cut out with another of the Stylish Stems Framelits.
And the sentiment layer was inked in Versamark
and heat embossed in Copper before cutting with a larger coordinating framelit.
After layering these pieces with Dimensionals,
loops of Copper Metallic thread were added to the back
and two small Basic Pearls were added as accents.
The inside was finished simply
with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock
and a Special Reason flower in Watermelon Wonder.
Thanks for stopping by and checking this Special Reason card.
