I received my Holiday Catalog pre-order this week and was excited not only to get the new products but know that we would be showcasing some of them in today’s Creation Station blog hop. I know that you can’t order these items yet, unless you are a demonstrator. So, join my team and choose Holiday Items for your kit or make a list and order beginning September 1.
I just loved the Sparkly Seasons ( 139825) snow globe stamp set.
It will take you throughout the year. And as it’s almost time for dance to begin for another year, I couldn’t resist the ballerina.
Here’s what I did with her.
After stamping the snow globe in Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride, I cut out the center of the globe. Then, I stamped the ballerina on a separate piece of cardstock and cut her out by hand, leaving a small tab at the bottom with which to attach her.
I colored her tutu with Blushing Bride marker. Then, her top was filled in with Dazzling Details and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds for extra shimmer.
I then used the Splattered Glitter technique on the Whisper White focal layer. But this time, I added the tiniest drop of Blushing Bride ink refill and used Dazzling Diamonds instead of glitter.
Next,
I created a shaker pocket using one of the pockets from a Project Life by Stampin’ Up! Pocket Pages. After adding some Silver and Blushing Bride sequins (from the Sequin Trim) and some 1/8″ and 1/4″ punches from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, I sealed the open edge.
This shaker pocket is backed by a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper that has been spritzed with a Blushing Bride and alcohol mixture.
Thanks for stopping by!
Now, it’s time to hop.

I love what you did with this card!
Love your extra touches…Now am going to try it with the nativity scene!
Just love this ballerina snowglobe. Awesome!
Well, I was ‘on the fence’ about this set, but you’ve convinced me I ‘need’ it, Sara! ha ha 🙂 All of your extra touches make this a super-special card.
I love this! What a great idea to slightly color the Dazzling Diamonds before doing the Splattered Glitter Technique.
Oh so sweet! I love this–it’s beautiful!!
