Last night was the Orange Bowl. And as I mentioned previously, I have spent the last few days chaperoning the Easton Area High School Band. Well, they played for the pregame last night and they were AMAZING! So exciting to watch and listen to. Then, they unfurled the flag the covers the field during the Star Spangled Banner and at halftime were part of the the show featuring Little Big Town. Today, we’re on our bus ride home and since many of the kids are sleeping, I can actually get on the wifi to post something for you.
I played with Little Sunshine (138580) from the upcoming Occasions Catalog before I left. While the images and sentiments were meant for baby, I thought they could be used for more adult purposes. This card makes a perfect Valentine.
I started with a Bermuda Bay base and then stamped the heart speech bubble in Bermuda Bay on Bermuda Bay. Next, I punched the speech bubbles with the 1″ circle punch so that I got the circular heart image.
The next layer is a piece from the new Stacked With Love designer series paper stack (137779). This side of the print is black and white in the stack. But, I used one of the new Bermuda Bay Blendability markers (133623) and colored much of the white.
The Basic Black border strips where cut with the Tiny Wave Stampin’ Trimmer blade. Around the middle of the designer paper piece, I’ve wound Bermuda Bay Baker’s Twine.
The large heart image was stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White and punched with the Sweetheart punch.
Thanks for stopping by.
I wish you a contented, healthy year.
