Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker. Today, I’m sharing my design team card for this week’s The Spot Creative Challenge. You’re going to like this pretty Snailed It with Stampin’ Blends and the accompanying video tutorial.

This week’s The Spot Creative Challenge 148 is all about color.  We’re using Night of Navy, Petal Pink and Soft Seafoam for our creations.

Snailed It with Stampin’ Blends

The images in the Snailed It stamp set are so cute!  They’re hard to resist.  On previous cards, I’ve created more of a scene.  But as you can see with today’s card, the stamped images are cute when just layering!

The Basic White layer was embossed to add some subtle texture to the layers.  And, it is topped with a piece of Soft Sea Foam cut with one of the Flowering Vine Dies to add more soft texture.

To color the snail and toadstools, I used my Stampin’ Blends in Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and Night of Navy.  For the background shading, I used my Softened Blends Technique.
