Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  Today, I want to share a little bit about the fundraiser that I coordinated for a Strides Team.  The Team invited guests and I had card packets ready for the guests to create fairly independently.   As they finished one set of cards, guests moved on to the next station.  Cards needed to be both cute and simple.  The Sitting Pretty for fundraiser card fit that description.

For the color combo, I went with the local high school’s color scheme.

Using a Basic Black base, I layered with a Real Red mat.

Then on the Whisper White layer, I stamped the bench in Memento Black

and added a Real Red heart.

 

 

Next, we added the bulldog with Crumb Cake for the fill in stamp.

For the sentiment, we used Itty Bitty Greetings

and cut with the Classic Label Punch.

And to accent the sentiment, we used a Duet Banner Punch

in Real Red.

 

 

 

This card was a hit with the group

as the bulldog is the mascot for the local high school!
