Simple Dragonfly Dreams

Today, I’m took my daughter back to school and this evening I went to the basketball game while she played in the Pep Band. Since I’m spending the night in Pittsburgh, we’ll play a little this evening after the game.  But first, dinner.  We split a yummy pizza with lots of garlic and fresh tomato and a spinach and artichoke salad — perfect!

In order to stick with my #sendhappymail goal, I got up early this morning and put together this quick and easy card using Dragonfly Dreams.

Dragonfly Dreams Clean and Simple card from

This clean and simple card is just a single layer with a bit of embellishment.

Start with a Smoky Slate card base and add a layer of Whisper White.

The bokeh dots from Dragonfly Dreams was inked with Smoky Slate.  I stamped and then stamped a second generation without re-inking in both corners.

The dragonfly was inked with Versamark and then heat embossed in Silver.

Before attaching the Whisper White layer with Dimensionals, four lengths of Silver Metallic Thread were wound around the layer.  Finally a few sequins from Silver Sequin Trim were attached with Glue Dots.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my clean and simple Dragonfly Dreams card.
