Crazy busy day yesterday — I think that’s my favorite kind of day most of the time. In the morning, there was a birthday Stamp-a-Stack. My friend Anne shared a great group of cards that she had recently designed. Then, I had a little time to work on a couple of projects before school let out. After spending a little time with my daughter, my friend Gary dropped by to share a couple of things he had been working on. And so on….
Today for my Try Stampin on Tuesday (TSOT215) design, I used Sheltering Tree.
Have you used this set yet? It’s just fabulous for all year round.
The sketch made me think of a summer day in the park with the clouds passing by overhead.
You know, those clouds you look at and decide what thing you see in them.
I used the large stamp for the tree leaves to create the sky. I inked it in Soft Sky and stamped a couple of times across the Whisper White layer.
For the leaves, I inked once in Wild Wasabi and once in Old Olive. Love the texture that stamp gives.
