Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker. Today for the Scrapbooking Global September 2020 Blog Hop we’re celebrating! That means that all of our scrapbook layouts will be for one kind of celebration or another.

Scrapbooking Global September 2020 Blog Hop

While in person graduation has not yet happened for those students who graduated in the Spring, the hop theme seemed like the perfect time to create a page for the event.
This clean page uses Stampin’ Up! colors that are close to the school colors:
Pacific Point and Mango Melody.
I’ve added Wreath Builder die cuts in Mango Melody to accent each of the photo mats.
By leaving the wreath pieces on the top free of adhesive,
photos from the day can be slipped right under and adhered to the mats.

By adding the Dimensionals but not removing the backing where the photo mats overlap, we’ll be able to add the photo on the larger mat without struggling.
Then, I used the Playful Alphabet dies to create the page title
and to add the white on white design of H2P (Hail to Pitt) scattered around the page.
Now, I’ll just set this aside until next April.
Thanks for stopping in today!

Nice to see people still scrapbooking about 2020 events, in spite of the craziness. Love the color intensity against the calm of the white.
Cynthia ~ I think we need to scrapbook this year. All of it! It will be of historical interest.
Lovely Layout. So much has been put on hold this year it is nice to be able to prepare layouts ready for the event. Love the tips about leaving areas unstuck so you can add the photos in later/
Thanks, Cheryl! My young adult was so pleased to come in and see it sitting here.
Great tips too Sara! Love this LO and I often do this too..scrapbook the event before the celebration happens..get so pleased that Im ahead of schedule instead of the normal behind….well Im behind too lol.
Thanks, Delys! I would do so much better scrapbooking if I just took the time to create the layouts for things I knew were coming up. Oh well, one day perhaps 🙂
I love this, Sara. The white space makes the rest of the layout pop. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Libby! It was a hit here with discussions about what pictures should go on it.
Super cute layout Sara! And this reminds me.. My son graduated several years ago… maybe it’s time to scrap that 🙂
Thanks, Lisa! You can slip that in, between scrapping current memories.
I love the white details on the white page!! This is a clever idea for a celebration! And great layout too.
Thanks, Julia! We’re looking forward to celebrating this milestone.
