Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the US. Today is the Scrapbooking Global March 2021 Blog Hop! The Scrapbooking Global design team and our guests have used our Stampin’ Up! supplies to create scrapbook pages for this month’s theme.

Each month when we hop, we create with a different theme or challenge. The creation theme for March is a Mood Board.

To create with the Mood Board, you can use the colors, the way it makes you feel, elements that are pictured in the board, etc. Use it to inspire your next scrapbook page!
Scrapbooking Global March 2021 Blog Hop

When I create from a mood board, I usually need to let it perk in the ole brain for a bit. I hadn’t quite decided how I was going to approach it until I was cleaning up bits and pieces from a few recent creations.
For my colors, I interpreted the key as being: Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, Rococo Rose, and Seaside Spray.
If you want to play with this color combination, you’ll want to remember that both Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray are part of the In Colors that will retire next month.

I started my page by creating my own background paper using the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and Highland Heather ink. As you can see, the Butterfly Brilliance stamp is large.
Tip: When I use a large stamp mounted, I prefer use one of my Stamparatus plates. I find it easier to manipulate.

Next, I stamped lots of flowers and leaves using the Pretty Perennials stamp set. Then, I cut them out with the coordinating Perennial Petals Dies. I love the shapes and sizes of the flowers and leaves in the set. And of course, I took advantage of the Bundle pricing discount.
Do you know that all of these dies fit in the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine? That’s something else that I love since my workspace is usually crowded.

Finally, I added this frame. I’m not sure yet whether I will use it for a second photo that will highlight a bit of the larger photo. Or, I may use it for journaling.
Since I create first and photos later, I like to leave my options open.
Thanks for stopping in today!
