Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Earlier this month the Scrapbooking Gobal design team was assembled. And today, I’m participating in our inaugural blog hop. We’ll be hopping once a month with a designated theme each time. This month just our design team is hopping. Our theme is the new Stampin’ Up! color palette to which we can add black and white. For my Scrapbooking Global June 2018 Blog Hop page, I created a layout using Swirly Frames. Let’s take a look.
Scrapbooking Global June 2018 Blog Hop
I do what I call scrapbooking in reverse.
What that means is, I design/create my page and then
sometime later I add photos.
For this page, I pulled out Mango Melody, Crushed Curry, Shaded Spruce
and Coastal Cabana.
Using the awesome Swirly Frames stamp set,
I created a geometric pattern for my background.
Next, I added one stamped line in black.
That seemingly random line actually pulls the whole thing together.
To finish my layout, I added a Coastal Cabana mat
along with a few Iridescent and Metallic Sequins.
Thanks for stopping by to see my Swirly Frames scrapbook layout!

Congratulations on your DT selection! You have an interesting way to make layouts. I like it 🙂
Thanks Susan! The process works for me. So, I like to share the idea in case someone else is looking for a different way to approach creating pages.
Fantastic page Sara. I was a little undecided about this set but after seeing your page, it is now on my Wish List. Congratulations on being selected for the Design Team – looking forward to seeing more of your pages.
Thank you Vicky! So glad I could help you see some of the creative possibilities for this set.
Love the colors and the geometric look of this layout. Awesome project, Sara!
Thank you Danielle! There are so many wonderful color combos to choose from with the new palette.
Lovely, fresh, colour choices Sara. That stamp set is awesome, isn’t it?!
Thanks Christine! That set is wonderful. There are so many possible ways to use it.
Thank you Sara for being part of the team. WOW I love what you have done with set. It is something that I cannot do create a layout with a photo in mind… Go you <3 It is so effective.
Cheers Shaz
Thanks Shaz! It seems to take the stress out of the creation of a page — for me. I can just create.
Love the way you have used the geometric shapes to decorate the page. The colors you have chosen look great. 🙂
Thanks Tricia! The Swirly Frames are just awesome to create with.
