Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the US. Today is the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop February 2021. The design team and a group of friends have lots of scrapbooking inspiration for you today as we share ways to use your Stampin’ Up! products for scrapbook layouts.

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop February 2021

Each month, one of the design team members chooses the creative theme. This month, Sherry has chosen our theme. For our February pages, we’re using a bingo.

The way that works is we all used the “bingo” board above. By choosing a row, column or diagonal for our “bingo”, we knew which elements we needed to included in our layout.
A Touch of Ink Scrapbook Page

For my layout, I used the left hand column. I started by choosing my photo matte color and sizes. They’re Garden Green and 5″ x 4″ and 4″ x 3″. After choosing where I wanted to place them, I made light tic marks in pencil on the Basic White 12″ x 12″ at the corners of the mattes.

Next, I used the leaves stamp in A Touch of Ink to create a vining effect. A Touch of Ink ticks my Sale a Bration product box for my “bingo”. The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green and Garden Green. Then, I stamped the flowers on Basic White in Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral. And, used my Paper Snips to cut them out.

You’ll also find two butterflies on the page. They were stamped to resemble Swallowtails and Monarchs. We have lots of them visit our garden each summer. The butterflies were cut out with Paper Snips and raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give a little more texture to the page.

Another element for my “bingo” was faux stitching. I added that accent the lower corner of one photo matter. After marking a line along my ruler, I placed the page over my Stampin’ Pierce Mat and used my Take Your Pick to pierce along the line. Then I connected the pierced holes with stitch lines drawn with my Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker.

For my final “bingo” element, I used the Playful Alphabet Dies to cut my page title from Berry Delightful Designer Paper (another Sale a Bration product). With the upside down numbers on my clear ruler running along the edge of the page, I knew my ruler was straight. Then, I used washi to temporarily tape it in place while I placed my letters for spacing and then adhered them
